Improving discoverability by simplifying navigation and shaping how users navigate the product.
Dia & Co
Redesign of global navigation
UX, UI, Research
Jan 2021 - Jun 2021

As Dia’s product catalog expanded, the existing navigation made it difficult for users to browse categories and discover products. It also limited the team’s ability to merchandise effectively and scale new categories over time.
Rather than treating this as a visual redesign, I restructured the information architecture and navigation patterns to better reflect how users browse and how inventory is organized.
This included:
• simplifying category groupings to improve scanability
• creating a more flexible structure that could scale with new products
• aligning navigation patterns across web and mobile
Improved product discoverability and established a more scalable foundation for merchandising.
The updated structure made it easier for users to browse and for the business to introduce new categories and promotions without adding complexity.
